My favourite breakfast
My day usually begins with a good breakfast. Would you like to know a good tasting and healthy breakfast from me? Here my recommendation for you and your health.
Natural curd cheese with fresh fruits, walnuts and muesli
The following ingredients are required for a 2-person breakfast:
- 250 g low-fat natural quark
- 1 big apple
- 1 large orange or 1 banana or 1 peach (depending on season)
- 4 chopped walnuts
- 1 tablespoon wholemeal crunch berry muesli and
- 1 tablespoon oat flakes (take wholemeal product)
Divide the curd into two equal portions is dessert bowls. Divide the apple and peeled orange into 12 pieces each. These pieces of fruit are placed upright on the edge of the quark in alternating order. Then sprinkle the chopped walnuts in the middle of the quark. Finally the muesli or oat flakes are sprinkled on top of the walnuts. The preparation takes about 15 minutes in total.
This breakfast is rich in protein, vitamins and unsaturated fatty acids, but poor in fats and carbohydrates.
Enjoy your breakfast together with a cup of coffee and a freshly squeezed orange juice.
